This policy explains which data Fluto Chat collects and why.

Data we collect

• Account: email, username, password (stored encrypted with bcrypt), gender, birth date, country, native language and profile photo.
• Google sign-in: name, email and profile photo provided by Google.
• Rooms: audio and video travel directly between participants (peer-to-peer, WebRTC) and are not recorded by us. Text chat exists only while the room is open.
• Technical data: while you are on the site we process your IP address, approximate location derived from it (country, region, city), browser, operating system and device type, to keep the service secure and to understand how it is used. This data is kept in memory only while you are connected and is not sold. To find the approximate location, the IP address is sent to an IP geolocation provider.
